How to buy on Vondi

Vondi is a Serbian marketplace where verified sellers — both companies and private individuals — offer their products in one place. This guide helps you buy quickly, safely, and without surprises. If you get stuck, write to support@mail.vondi.rs or call +381 60 448 5063 on weekdays, 10:00–18:00.

Why shopping on Vondi is safe

  • All card payments are processed through AllSecure with mandatory 3-D Secure authentication. Vondi does not store your card data.
  • IPS QR payments run directly between your bank and the PaySpot payment provider (NBS standard).
  • Communication with the site is encrypted via TLS (HTTPS).
  • Your rights are protected by Serbia's Consumer Protection Act — 14 days to withdraw from a contract without giving a reason (Art. 27 ZZP) and a 2-year statutory warranty for new goods (Art. 52 ZZP).
  • Vondi operates as a registered Serbian company (VONDI GLOBAL DOO Beograd (Palilula), PIB 115369231, MB 22148117) under all obligations of ZoT (Trade Act) and ZET (E-Commerce Act).

Step 1 — Register or shop as guest

You can shop as a guest (no account) or as a registered user. Guest checkout is fast, but registration gives you:

  • Full order history and invoices in one place
  • Wishlist and favourite sellers
  • Faster checkout — addresses and details are remembered securely
  • Shipment status and promotion notifications
  • The ability to review products after delivery

How to register

  1. Click Sign up in the top right corner.
  2. Enter your e-mail and password, or continue with Google.
  3. Confirm your e-mail (the link arrives within minutes).
  4. Optionally add your phone number — couriers can reach you faster.

Your data is processed under the Personal Data Protection Act (ZZPL) and our Privacy Policy. You can request access, correction or deletion at any time via mail@vondi.rs.

Step 2 — Find a product

Search and filters

  • Search at the top understands synonyms and typos — keep it short (e.g. "white sneakers 42").
  • Categories narrow down from broad to specific: Electronics → Phones → Smartphones.
  • Filters on the left (price, brand, attributes, delivery) refine results.
  • Sort by popularity, price or newest in the top right of the listing.

Seller storefronts

Each B2C seller has a dedicated page with logo, description, categories and customer ratings. Click the seller's name to see their full catalogue and shipping terms.

What to check on a product page

  • Photos — view all angles, zoom in on details.
  • Description and specs — confirm exact model, colour, size, compatibility.
  • Price (incl. VAT) — by Art. 7 and 12 of ZoT, the displayed price is final for consumers (VAT and mandatory fees included).
  • Stock — number of units available.
  • Seller — company or person name, rating, sales volume.
  • Delivery time — estimated.
  • Reviews — real buyers' opinions.

Step 3 — Add to cart

Clicking Add to cart saves the product but doesn't yet place an order. In the cart you can:

  • Change quantity or remove items
  • Mix products from multiple sellers — Vondi splits the order into separate shipments automatically
  • See total with VAT and approximate shipping cost

Your cart is remembered across sessions if you are signed in.

Step 4 — Place the order

Clicking Proceed to checkout opens a clean three-step flow.

4.1 Delivery address

Provide name, surname, phone number and full address (street, number, floor/apartment, city, postal code). Phone is required because couriers call before delivery.

4.2 Delivery method

  • Post Express courier — Pošta Srbije delivers to your door, typically within 1–3 working days.
  • Paketomat (Pošta Srbije locker) — pick the closest locker on the interactive map; an SMS with a pickup code arrives once delivered. Useful if you are rarely home.
  • Local pickup — when offered by the seller, at their address.

4.3 Payment method

Selected on the next step (see Step 5).

Before placing the order, the system asks you to confirm you've read the Terms of Use — required by Art. 13 ZET (pre-contract information).

Step 5 — Pay

Vondi supports three secure payment methods.

Card payment (Visa, Mastercard, DinaCard)

  • Processed by AllSecure with mandatory 3-D Secure confirmation (bank code, biometrics or push).
  • Vondi never sees or stores card number, CVV or expiry — that data stays with the certified processor (PCI DSS Level 1).
  • Optionally save the card as a token for faster future checkout.

IPS QR (instant payment via mobile banking)

  • Scan the QR code with your bank's app (NLB, Banca Intesa, Raiffeisen, OTP, AIK, ProCredit, etc.).
  • Funds move instantly, no fee for buyer.
  • Powered by the National Bank of Serbia's IPS NBS Pay standard.

Cash on delivery (COD)

  • Pay the courier in cash or by card (depending on courier capabilities) on delivery.
  • Useful for first purchases when you want extra peace of mind.
Security: all three channels are supervised by the National Bank of Serbia and comply with the Serbian Payment Services Act. Vondi never asks for, stores or forwards your payment instrument data.

Step 6 — Receive and inspect

  1. Inspect the packaging. If it is visibly damaged, file a record with the courier and contact us within 24 hours.
  2. Open the package in front of the courier if you suspect issues — you may refuse acceptance for obvious non-conformity (wrong item, missing contents).
  3. Keep the receipt and original packaging in case of return or complaint.
  4. You will receive a fiscal receipt (PDF in e-mail) — this is your proof of purchase.

Step 7 — Returns and complaints

Right of withdrawal (14 days)

Under Art. 27 ZZP, as a consumer you have 14 days to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason, counted from the day you (or a person you nominated) received the goods. Process:

Withdrawal form Fill in the withdrawal form or send a clear withdrawal statement to support@mail.vondi.rs.

  1. Return the goods at your cost (unless the seller stated otherwise) within 14 days of sending the withdrawal statement.
  2. The goods must be undamaged, in original packaging, with all accessories.
  3. Vondi (or the seller, depending on the contract) refunds the amount within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal statement, via the same channel as payment (Art. 34 ZZP).

Exceptions (Art. 37 ZZP)

The right of withdrawal does not apply to, among others:

  • Custom-made or clearly personalised goods
  • Perishable goods or goods nearing expiry
  • Sealed audio/video recordings or software once unsealed
  • Hygiene-sensitive goods (underwear, cosmetics) once the seal is broken
  • Digital content already delivered electronically with your explicit consent

Non-conformity complaint

  • You have 2 years for new goods (Art. 52 ZZP) or 1 year for second-hand goods.
  • Submit a complaint to support@mail.vondi.rs with description and photos.
  • A response is sent within 8 days (Art. 56 ZZP); resolution within an agreed reasonable period.
  • Your remedies: replacement, repair, price reduction or contract termination — order chosen per ZZP.

Warranties and conformity

  • Statutory conformity — 2 years new, 1 year second-hand (Art. 52 ZZP). Covers defects existing at the time of delivery.
  • Commercial warranty — additional warranty from manufacturer or seller; never reduces statutory rights.
  • A warranty card (if issued) cannot contain terms less favourable to the consumer than the law.

Security of your data and payments

  • HTTPS/TLS — all traffic encrypted.
  • 3-D Secure — mandatory authentication on every card payment.
  • PCI DSS Level 1 — highest certification level for AllSecure.
  • GDPR / ZZPL compliance — your data is processed under Art. 12 ZZPL (lawfulness), kept only as long as necessary, and not shared beyond what is required for contract performance (courier, payment provider, accounting).
  • Right to be forgotten — you can request deletion of your account and data via mail@vondi.rs.

FAQ

1. Can I buy without registering?

Yes — checkout as guest. Your invoice is sent to the e-mail you enter at checkout.

2. Will the price change at the end?

No. The displayed price includes VAT. Shipping is shown before you confirm the order.

3. Can I cancel after paying?

You can cancel while the order is in "Processing". Once shipped, use your right of withdrawal (14 days) or file a complaint.

4. How long does delivery take?

Typically 1–3 working days for Post Express and lockers. Exact ETA depends on the seller and your location.

5. How is a card payment refunded?

To the same card used for payment, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal statement (Art. 34 ZZP).

6. What if the parcel is lost or damaged?

Write to support@mail.vondi.rs with the order number. We open a claim with the courier and coordinate with the seller.

7. Is it safe to save my card?

Yes. Vondi stores only a token generated by AllSecure — never your full card data. You can delete the token from your profile at any time.
