Description
This lever is the heart of the control mechanism. Its specific geometry allows the linear movement of the finger to be converted into precise rotation of the throttle on the carburettor. Thanks to the rigidity of the material there is no delay ("lag") in operation, which is crucial in forestry where instant power is needed for cutting through. Technical specifications Manufacturer: STIHL Catalogue number: 1135 182 1500 Material: High-quality spring steel, zinc-plated for protection against corrosion. Geometry: Bent at precise angles for the internal path through the tank housing. Compatibility (KEY SECTION) The part is purpose-made for the professional 1135 series: MS 341 MS 361 (including versions with heaters and the M-Tronic system where applicable) Service note: Replacing the lever requires opening the handle cover. Take the opportunity to check whether the pin on which the trigger itself pivots is worn. Also, because the lever passes next to the intake system, be sure to visually inspect the intake manifold hose for possible cracks. When putting the cover back, make sure that each screw enters its thread without excessive force so as not to damage the polyamide tank housing. Advantages of the original Perfect force transmission: The original lever has no elastic deviations; every millimetre of pressure on the trigger is faithfully transmitted to the carburettor. Material durability: The steel is heat-treated so that there is no material fatigue or permanent distortion, which is common with soft replacement wires. Safety: Precise dimensions guarantee that the lever will not "catch" on the inner walls of the housing, eliminating the risk of the throttle sticking in the open position. Easy installation: The bending angles are identical to the factory ones, so the lever "sits" in place without the need for additional correction with pliers, which is almost impossible to avoid with copies.
